Kelli – Update

This is Jeff. I know people are concerned about Kelli and I thought I should give an update. We have both been sick for more than a month. This virus is a brutal experience. Kinda like a scary roller coaster and you can’t get off. Last week Kelli became even sicker. Beyond staying home and riding it out. I’ll let her fill everyone in as she sees fit when she can but she is getting better and I hope she will be back here very soon writing something funny about the whole thing. I’m looking forward to that and will pass on your well wishes when I can.

  • Kelli and Jeff, it’s been 10 days since we’ve heard from you last. It’s heart-breaking as to hard hit you have been with this horrid covis-19. My prayers, thoughts, and good juju continue to be sent your way. With love ❤️

  • Every morning I get up, drink coffees, read the news and read Kelli’s blog. And even though I too live in Spain, quaratined in Galicia, I was glad that I didn’t know anyone infected and hospitalised with THE virus. Now I read this sad update that made me cry. I know that she is in good hands, the doctors and medical staff are amazing here, but I know that she would rather be home. I hope that her recovery is quick and back home with you soon because I have plenty more pics to share. The baby goats are growing up and almost weaned. One of Three is a little pistol, running and jumping all over. Thinking of Kelli and you…

  • I have missed starting my day in California with Kelli’s quips of life. I’m so sorry to hear you have both been struggling with this horrid disease – it is a nightmare. I will continue keeping you in my thoughts and sending love and good juujuu through the airwaves to you both. Jeff, thank you for updating us. And please do so in a couple of days, just to let us know you are both doing okay?

  • Kelli, I have enjoyed your sense of humor and wit since I stared following your blog in early Feb. Thanks for keeping us entertained and updated on the reality of living in Spain during COVID-19. I was really worried about Jeff, and now I’m worried about you. Keep your chin up, peregrina! Know that you have a big fan on the west coast of the USA. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help through my Camino blog. I am sending prayers for your speedy recovery. Te cuidas, amiga!

  • Wishing you both a strong recovery! Kelli’s blogs have been my way of reporting to “my world” on what will happen if we don’t heed the warnings of those who have experienced this.
May you both feel better soon!
